On Thursday September 29, 2011, LCN hosted for the third time, its annual Professional Mixer in Michigan! The mixer took place at South Bar in Birmingham, Michigan, and was partnered with the Lebanese American Heritage Club (LAHC). The end-of-summer mixer was welcomed by a rainy evening of networking, while enjoying delicious appetizers and drinks. Through joint-partnership, LCN and LAHC brought together an intimate crowd from the Detroit area that built further business and personal connections.

Judith Farah, LCN president, welcomed the attendees and introduced her colleagues from the LCN, Anita AbdulKarim (LCN VP of Events), and Karla Bouchar (Michigan Mixer Committee Chair), who along with her, had the responsibility of managing the event. Wassim Mahfouz, LAHC Executive Director, spoke more about the Lebanese American Heritage Club, and how year after year, the LAHC organization is reaching out to the community. AbdulKarim, also had a warm introduction about LCN, followed by distributing many unique raffle prizes for the evening with Bouchar.

This event was sponsored by DTE Energy, as represented by Mr. Fouad Abou Chrakra. Raffle prizes were sponsored by LAHC, Best Buy, and Sydney Airbrush Tanning Salon. The excitement from the raffle session invited a high-spirited atmosphere that continued on for the remainder of the evening.
