Lebanese Collegiate Network Annual Convention - Elections 2011
The future of the Lebanese Collegiate Network (LCN) is in your hands. If you believe in the Mission of the LCN and are capable of committing significant time to a worthy cause, then please fill out the attached nomination form for the 2011-2012 LCN Executive Board positions. Candidates may be self-nominated and/or nominated by any LCN general or subscribing member as defined by Article 3 of the LCN Constitution. The Executive Board positions are listed below:
Each position’s responsibility is listed under Article III Section 6 of the LCN Bylaws. The Conference will be held at the Oakland University in Rochester Michigan on April 1-3 2011. A copy of the LCN Constitution and LCN Bylaws can be found at www.mylcn.org. We encourage you to read these documents before applying.
Per Article III Section 3 of the LCN Bylaws: “The Executive Officers cannot actively hold the office of a ULC President. Additionally, the Executive Officers cannot hold more than one Executive Officer during the same term.” Furthermore, per Article X, Section 4: “Candidates for the office of LCN President shall have served on the LCN Executive Board for at least (1) fiscal year.”
Please submit the attached nomination form by March 15, 2011. The form must be submitted electronically to the LCN Board at nom@mylcn.org. All nominations submitted passed this date will not be accepted. Nominees must also be present at the 2011LCN Convention to be elected. Please use as much space as needed. All nomination forms submitted will be uploaded on the LCN website and available to the voting body. If you have questions, please contact any LCN nominations committee member at nom@mylcn.org.
