In addition to the workshops, the LCN convention is the venue where the executive board elections take place for the next term. The elections occur after the Running an Efficient Meeting Workshop and conclude the Saturday day events.

Candidates are required to submit their nomination no later than two weeks prior the convention. The nominees then give a 3 minute speech to the convention attendees to introduce themselves and describe their platform. Subscribing ULC presidents present at the convention, 8 this year, have the right, per constitution and bylaws, to cast a vote on behalf of their ULC.

The LCN Legislative Branch unanimously passed a constitutional amendment eliminating the elected Vice President of Information Technology position.  This amendment led to several other Bylaw amendments adopted by the Executive Branch

An independent committee, named above, overlooked the election process, tallied the votes and announced the results. This year’s winner for the 2010-2011 Board Term are:
