What does your ULC do to raise money? What lessons have you learned that can raise the revenue for other ULCs?
How to Raise $:
- Fundraising Dinners
- Bake Sale
- Food Sales: BBQs, Lebanese Food (Falafel, Tabouli)
- Get Funding from student governments
- Raffles
- Hafles!!

What does your ULC do to involve faculty or staff with the organization? What are the advantages of having faculty involved?
Involvement:
- Invite them to events
- help sign off documents
- serve as faculty advisor for club
- guest speakers for events
- helps with sponsorship/funding

What does your ULC do to attract Lebanese Students to become active in your organization? What are some examples of active involvement by students?
Attractions:
- Food: Falafel & hummus
- Club fair, fliers
- Be Friendly
- Dabkeh groups
- Take opinions & ideas
- Give people jobs/responsibilities
- Hangouts -- gp see

What does your ULC do to attract non-Lebanese students to the organization? What benefits do you offer to non-Lebanese students?
Cultural Events & Shows

What does or can your ULC do to eliminate derogatory stereotypes of middle eastern people? How does your ULC take steps to protect cultural discrimination?
Host an Arab/Lebanese “Awareness Week”
- Booths to showcase & teach history/culture
Have events open to public
- Encourage friends from other ethnic groups to attend
Show a movie about
The ULC group activity aimed at promoting team work and diversity in order to tackle challenges and issues many ULCs face. The attendees were split away from their respective schools and randomly placed together in teams of 5 and 4 to answer a predetermined question. There were a total of 10 questions and 10 groups.
